New Technology. 26.1 Whenever a new technology is introduced into a unit member’s work environment which the unit member will be required to use, the District will provide the following: 26.1.1 At District expense the unit member(s) shall be trained by a person qualified to train in the new technology. 26.1.2 The training should occur during the unit member(s) regular work day. If such training is not available during the unit member(s) regular work-day hours, the unit member will be compensated under Article 6, SALARY, regarding overtime and any other applicable section of Article 6.
