Supervisors Working (a) The work of Supervisors will not include assignment to work normally performed by employees of the bargaining unit except for training or demonstration. “Training or demonstration” shall not be used as a subterfuge for the performing of any bargaining unit work. Any claimed abuses will be referred to the Grievance Procedure. Where possible, the shop xxxxxxx will be notified. Supervisors will not perform bargaining unit work until after all rea- sonable efforts have been exhausted to have the work covered.
Working Alone Agencies will develop practices and procedures to minimize as much as possible any situations where employees work alone in potentially hazardous areas and, in those cases where employees are required to work alone, Agencies will develop practices and procedures to minimize as much as possible any potential risk to the affected employees. A periodic check on the safety of employees who work alone in potentially hazardous areas will be made or a means of communication to the worksite base location will be provided to employees who work alone in potentially hazardous areas.
Headquarters 11.1 This article applies to employees who do not attend at or work at or work from any permanent ministry facility in the course of their duties, but for whom a permanent ministry facility or other place is designated as an employee’s “headquarters” for the purposes of the provisions of this Central Collective Agreement and of various allowances which require a headquarters to be specified.

Utilization of Minority Business Enterprises The Contractor shall perform under this Contract in accordance with 45 C.F.R. Part 74; and, as applicable, C.G.S. §§ 4a-60 to 4a 60a and 4a-60g to carry out this policy in the award of any subcontracts.
Certified and Minority Business Enterprises Reports Upon Customer request, the Contractor shall report to the requesting Customer the Contractor’s spend with certified and other minority business enterprises in the provision of commodities or services related to the Customer’s orders. These reports shall include the period covered, the name, minority code, and Federal Employer Identification Number of each minority business utilized during the period; commodities and services provided by the minority business enterprise, and the amount paid to each minority business enterprise on behalf of the Customer.
Resumption of Operations In the event of action prohibited by Section 1 above, the Union immediately shall disavow such action and request the employees to return to work, and shall use its best efforts to achieve a prompt resumption of normal operations. The union, including its officials and agents, shall not be liable for any damages, direct or indirect, upon complying with the requirements of this Section.
Professional Development Day The Employees shall be entitled to spend three (3) working days with pay for the purpose of doing research and preparation related to their work at a date mutually acceptable to the Employer and the Employee.
PROFESSIONAL AUTONOMY 1. Within the bounds of the prescribed curriculum, and consistent with effective educational methodology and practice, and within established District and/or school goals and objectives, teachers shall have individual professional autonomy in determining the methods of instruction and the planning and presentation of course materials in the classes to which they are assigned.
