LICENSE FEES OR TAXES Provided the solicitation requires an awarded contractor or supplier to be licensed by the State of Texas, any and all fees and taxes are the responsibility of the respondent.
SERVICE FEES AND ASSESSMENTS UCF DHRL reserves the right to charge the Student for various services or as a form of sanction; charges may be found at xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxx.xxx.xxx/costs/charges/; charge amounts are updated from time to time, the Student is responsible for the charge amount posted on the website on the date the charge is assessed.
Proration of calculations If less than total program funding is subject to interest calculation procedures, the resulting interest liability calculations shall be prorated to 100% of program funding.
Interest on Delinquent Payments Without waiving any other right or action available to Authority, in the event of default of Company's payment of Rents or other charges hereunder, and in the event Company is delinquent in paying to Authority any Rents or other charges for a period of five (5) days after the payment is due, Authority reserves the right to charge Company interest thereon from the date the Rents or other charges became due to the date of payment at one and one-half percent (1.5%) per month, to the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law.
Taxes, Fees and Levies (a) Seller shall be obligated to pay all present and future taxes, fees and levies, imposed on or associated with the Facility or delivery or sale of the Products (“Seller’s Taxes”). Buyer shall be obligated to pay all present and future taxes, fees and levies, imposed on or associated with such Products after Delivery of such Products to Buyer or imposed on or associated with the purchase of such Products (other than ad valorem, franchise or income taxes which are related to the sale of the Products and are, therefore, the responsibility of Seller) (“Buyer’s Taxes”). In the event Seller shall be required by law or regulation to remit or pay any Buyer’s Taxes, Buyer shall reimburse Seller for such payment. In the event Buyer shall be required by law or regulation to remit or pay any Seller’s Taxes, Seller shall reimburse Buyer for such payment, and Buyer may deduct any of the amount of any such Seller’s Taxes from the amount due to Seller under Section 5.2. Buyer shall have the right to all credits, deductions and other benefits associated with taxes paid by Buyer or reimbursed to Seller by Buyer as described herein. Nothing shall obligate or cause a Party to pay or be liable to pay any taxes, fees and levies for which it is exempt under law.
TAXES/FEES Contractor promptly shall pay all applicable taxes on its operations and activities pertaining to this Master Contract. Failure to do so shall constitute breach of this Master Contract. Unless otherwise agreed, Purchaser shall pay applicable sales tax imposed by the State of Washington on purchased goods and/or services. Contractor, however, shall not make any charge for federal excise taxes and Xxxxxxxxx agrees to furnish Contractor with an exemption certificate where appropriate.
Calculation of Charges Contractor shall provide an invoice to the City on a monthly basis for goods delivered and/or Services completed in the immediate preceding month, unless a different schedule is set out in Appendix B, “Calculation of Charges.” Compensation shall be made for goods and/or Services identified in the invoice that the City, in his or her sole discretion, concludes has been satisfactorily performed. In no event shall the amount of this Agreement exceed [insert whole dollar amount in numbers and words -- no pennies and no “.00”]. The breakdown of charges associated with this Agreement appears in Appendix B, “Calculation of Charges.” A portion of payment may be withheld until conclusion of the Agreement if agreed to by both Parties as retainage, described in Appendix B. In no event shall City be liable for interest or late charges for any late payments. City will not honor minimum service order charges for any services covered by this Agreement.
Deposits for Charges Subject to Escalation Deposits requested to cover estimated charges for timber subject to escalation under B3.2 shall be based upon Current Contract Rates and related de- posits in effect during previous calendar quarter. B4.215 Deposits When Payment Xxxxxx- xxxx. To the extent payment guarantee is provided under B4.3, requirements for advance cash deposits under B4.212 shall be waived for the value of timber on Sale Area that is cut, but not removed, and for the value of products removed from Sale Area for not more than a monthly billing period, subject to the provisions of B4.4. B4.216 Blanket Cash Deposits. Purchaser may make cash deposits under a written agreement to cover charges made under this and other timber sale con- tracts within the same National Forest. Forest Service shall allocate such deposits to such timber sales. When there is to be no timber cutting hereunder for 30 days or more and payment of current charges has been made, the allocation to this timber sale shall be reallocated to other timber sales within the same National Forest at Purchaser’s request. Purchaser shall not start cutting until allocation has again been made to this timber sale.
Compensation for Damages or Losses When investments by investors of either Contracting Party suffer damages or losses owing to war, armed conflict, a state of national emergency, revolt, insurrection, riot or other similar events in the territory of the other Contracting Party, they shall be accorded by the latter Contracting Party a treatment, as regards compensation or other settlement, not less favourable than that accorded to its own investors or to investors of any Third State.
Our Right to Make Payments and Recover Overpayments If payments which should have been made by us according to this provision have actually been made by another organization, we have the right to pay those organizations the amounts we decide are necessary to satisfy the rules of this provision. These amounts are considered benefits provided under this plan and we will not have to pay those amounts again. If we make payments for allowable expenses, which are more than the maximum amount needed to satisfy the conditions of this provision, we have the right to recover the excess amounts from: • the person to or for whom the payments were made; • any other insurers; and/or • any other organizations (as we decide). As the subscriber, you agree to pay back any excess amount paid, provide information and assistance, or do whatever is necessary to aid in the recovery of this excess amount. The amount of payments made includes the reasonable cash value of any benefits provided in the form of services.
