Common use of Non-Confirmation of Appointment Clause in Contracts

Non-Confirmation of Appointment. If, during the initial probationary period, an employee’s performance or conduct is not satisfactory, or if the employee proves unsuited to the employee’s work, or if the employee fails to qualify medically, the appointment will not be confirmed, but terminated. A decision not to confirm an employee’s probationary appointment may not be appealed.
