Common use of Non-Immediate Family Member Clause in Contracts

Non-Immediate Family Member. Absence due to the death of a non-immediate family member or close friend may be granted by the Superintendent and shall normally be limited to 5 days, with such absence deducted from accrued sick leave. If the teacher does not have sufficient sick leave, the cost of a substitute teacher shall be deducted from his/her salary.
