Non-school Investigations. The SRO shall comply with WCBOE Policy 6605, Investigations and Arrests by Law Enforcement, regarding law enforcement investigations related to non-school matters. The SRO shall refrain from questioning students at school regarding non-school related matters unless the SRO has a warrant or unless questioning, searching or arresting a student on school property at that time is necessary, in the discretion of the SRO, for the success of a law enforcement investigation or to prevent injury or crime.
