Common use of Noon Meals Clause in Contracts

Noon Meals. While working at or out of headquarters (generally within an eight (8) kilometre (five (5) mile) radius or ten (10) minutes one way travel time from permanent headquarters), employees shall normally provide their own noon meals. If an employee is working beyond the guide limits stated above, the employee shall, with the approval of his or her supervisor, be reimbursed for the actual cost of the restaurant meal purchased. This clause does not apply to employees on the L pay scale.
