Notice in Final Probationary Year. A XXX who is completing his or her final year of probationary service prior to earning tenure shall receive written notice by May 10 as to whether or not the teacher will be reappointed for the following school year. A XXX who does not receive such notice shall be deemed reappointed for the following school year and shall become a tenured teacher during the next school year on the anniversary date of his or her initial appointment as a teacher.
