Notice of Covering. Work Contractor shall give Authority notice in its Monthly Progress Schedule of its upcoming schedule with respect to the covering and completion of any Work, and shall update such notice, if necessary, within a reasonable time period (at least five (5) days) before such covering and completion. Authority shall give Contractor reasonable notice, unless an emergency situation exists, of any intended inspection or testing of such Work in progress prior to its covering or completion, which notice shall be sufficient to afford Authority a reasonable opportunity to conduct a full inspection of such Work. At Authority’s written request, Contractor shall take apart or uncover for inspection or testing any previously-covered or completed Work; provided, however, that Authority’s right to make such requests shall be limited to circumstances where there is a reasonable basis for concern by Authority as to whether the disputed Work complies with the requirements of this Contract. The cost of uncovering, taking apart, or replacing such Work along with the costs related to any delay in performing Work caused by such actions, shall be borne as follows:

  • Notice of Schedule For any NEO that takes place on a regular, recurring schedule, the sponsoring Department shall be responsible for providing annual notice to the Union. For NEOs that are not offered on a regular, recurring schedule, the sponsoring Department shall provide no less than ten (10) business days’ notice.
