Notice of Overtime. The Agency shall give as much notice as possible of overtime to be worked. No overtime is to be worked without the prior authorization of management except in emergent situations necessary to effect Agency services.
Notice of Overtime. The parties recognize the advisability of providing employees with adequate notice of work required beyond the basic workday or the basic work week. When overtime requirements are known in advance, the affected employees will be advised at least four hours prior to the end of their shift for daily planned overtime or prior to the end of their shift on Thursday for any planned weekend overtime.
Notice of Overtime. The Company will make every reasonable attempt to notify Employees of mandatory overtime by posting a notice on the bulletin board with a copy to the Employee Advocate, 24 hours in advance if overtime will be required on their scheduled days off. The Company will provide a minimum notice to all affected Employees and the Employee Advocate of daily overtime, no less than two (2) hours prior to the end of the shift. Failure to provide such notice will relieve the Employees of the requirement to work such overtime and Employees will be asked to work on a voluntary basis. Notwithstanding the commitment to provide advance notice, employees may be scheduled to work mandatory overtime with less than two (2) hours notice where there is an emergency or customer need that must be met and there are insufficient volunteers. In such a case, Employees will be scheduled to work in reverse order of seniority of those employees who are capable of performing the available work.
Notice of Overtime. If overtime is necessary, an employee will be notified as follows:

However, this provision shall not apply in the event of overtime work necessitated by a power failure, machine breakdown, unforeseen or emergency demand for product, or other causes beyond the control of the Company.
