Common use of Notice of Nurse Termination Clause in Contracts

Notice of Nurse Termination. Hospital shall give nurses regularly employed 14 6 calendar days’ notice of termination of employment or, if less notice shall be given, then 7 the difference between the number of days’ notice given and the number of working 8 days of advance notice herein required shall be paid to the nurse at the nurse’s regular 9 rate of pay; provided, however, that no such advance notice or pay in lieu thereof shall 10 be required for nurses who are discharged for gross violations of professional conduct.
