Notice to Employees and Recognized Employee Organizations. Regular employees designated for layoff or demotion shall be notified in writing at least four (4) calendar weeks prior to the anticipated date of termination or demotion. The Association shall also be so notified.

Regular employees designated for layoff or demotion and recognized employee organizations shall be notified in writing at least four (4) calendar weeks prior to the anticipated date of termination or demotion. The Association shall also notice will inform employees of their bumping rights, if any. Bumping rights must be so notifiedexercised within seven (7) calendar days of notice of layoff.
