Continuing Education. Employees in classifications represented by this Unit who, during the term of this MOU, are required to attend continuing education courses, seminars, etc., as a requisite for retention of a license, certification or registration which is a condition of continuing County employment, shall be given County-paid time off from their regular work schedule for said attendance, if it does not interfere with the performance of County services as determined by the department head. In order to avoid favoritism, in-service seminars and workshops pertaining to skill development will be granted as equitably as possible.
Continuing Education. The Medical Group and its Medical Personnel shall be solely responsible for ongoing membership in professional associations and continuing professional education. The Medical Group shall ensure that its Medical Personnel participate in such continuing professional education as is necessary for such physician or professional to remain current in his or her field of medical practice.
Continuing Education. The Employer agrees to pay the full tuition fee plus approved expenses for any employee directed by the Employer to attend a workshop, in-service training seminar, self- improvement course, or other job-related professional growth activities specifically designed to provide on-the-job improvements.
Continuing Education. The University agrees to reimburse each CRNA up to seventeen hundred dollars ($1,700) per year for Continuing Education Units (CEUs). A. Employees shall submit a request to the district/division/section commander.

D. Classes shall not be attended on state time. Employees may not attend classes in uniform, but may use state vehicles to drive to and from the classes, and may split their shifts to enable attendance at the classes, subject to supervisory approval, as long as the class is not disjunctive from the shift. The Employer shall have full discretion as to the use of state equipment.
E. When several members of a detachment or section wish to attend classes, the following shall be considered in resolving conflicts:
1. Seniority in rank/position, by commissioned time, Agency time, and total state service time;
2. Date of request to attend classes; and
3. Evaluation of the employee's goals.
F. Upon completion of an educational program, employees shall forward to the Human Resource Division copies of certificates, transcripts, or degrees attached to a completed Employee Status Report.
Continuing Education. The following terms are the provisions in the collective agreement applying to Continuing Education Teachers as defined in the Education Act:
Continuing Education. Medical Providers shall participate in such continuing medical education and training programs as required by law to maintain skills compatible with standards of medical care in the community.
