Common use of NOTICE TO UPE Clause in Contracts

NOTICE TO UPE. Each time a layoff is or layoffs are ordered, the County shall deliver to UPE, not later than the date of service of the last notice of layoff, each seniority list by class and department in which an employee within the Welfare Non-Supervisory Unit is to be laid off. Each such list shall identify the personnel to be laid off and show the date of service of the notice of layoff to each employee who is to be laid off.
