Notification of Investigation. a. Where an employee is under investigation by the Board for alleged misconduct, the possible outcome of which may be dismissal of the employee, the employee and the Association shall be notified in writing of that fact, by registered mail or personal delivery, unless such notification would prejudice the investigation. In any event, notification shall be given at the earliest possible time. b. Before any action is taken by the Board, the employee shall have the right to be accompanied by a representative of the Association at any meeting with the involved parties in connection with such investigation. c. When an employee is suspended or dismissed, the President of the Association shall be informed immediately.
