Notification – Posting. Examination notices for all competitive promotion classifications shall be posted on the bulletin board throughout the Department for a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to the examination date. Subjects to be covered in the written examination shall be posted thirty (30) days prior to the examination date. Employees eligible to compete shall submit their letters of intent to participate to the Sheriff no later than fifteen (15) days prior to the examination date.
