Occupational Sickness and Injury. 11.1.1 If an employee is entitled to Workers' Compensation benefits, the benefits are to be paid directly to the employee. 11.1.2 The Institute will pay the difference between the employees' full salary and the amount of the Workers' Compensation Board payments, provided that the Workers' Compensation Board sends a detailed statement to the Institute of each cheque sent to an employee.
