Common use of OFFICE OF LABOR RELATIONS Clause in Contracts

OFFICE OF LABOR RELATIONS. If the decision at Step 2 has not satisfactorily 16 resolved the grievance, the Association may submit the grievance in writing to the Director of the 17 Office of Labor Relations in the King County Executive’s Office. The Labor Relations Director or 18 designee shall meet with the employee and his/her Association representative. The Labor Relations 19 Director or designee will contact the employee and the Association representative within ten (10) 20 working days of receipt of the written grievance, to schedule the meeting. The hearing shall be 21 scheduled as soon as possible, but not later than thirty (30) days after receipt of the grievance. 22 Whenever possible, grievance meetings will be held during the employee’s regular working hours.
