Officer of Professional Organization. Up to one (1) year to serve as an officer of any professional association or its staff. The Board may extend the above leaves. Upon return from such leave, such faculty member shall be placed at the same position on the salary schedule on which he/she would have been had he/she taught in the College during such period.
