Common use of Official Badge/Insignia Clause in Contracts

Official Badge/Insignia. No official or employee who wears a badge or other official insignia as evidence of his or her authority and identity shall permit such badge insignia to be used or worn by any other person of the same or another department, or otherwise to leave his or her possession, without approval except as to persons regularly and formally appointed by the City Manager to the position designated by the badge or insignia.
