On December. 1 and June 1 of each year, the Department may make cash conversions of any portion of hours exceeding forty (40) hours in compensatory leave banks. Conversion formulas will be uniform in application to bargaining unit members. Members with a balance exceeding one hundred eighty (180) hours are not eligible for cash out of the excess hours.
