Effective September. 1, 2022, teacher instructional time will be capped at 916 hours per school year commencing the 2022-23
Effective September. 1, 2017, the period of consecutive employment during the school year shall not be considered interrupted or non-consecutive, if a holiday, teachers’ convention, professional day or such other system-regulated breaks interrupt the substitute teacher’s continuity in the classroom.
Effective September. 1, 2019, notwithstanding any other provision in the Collective Agreement, principals shall receive a minimum allowance of $25,000 annually, prorated based on FTE.

Effective September. 1, 2023 a teacher designated as an assistant or vice principal shall enter into a series of term contracts for a period of up to five (5) years. Up to two (2) of these five (5) years may be on a probationary basis. Following the term contract maximum of five (5) years, inclusive of the maximum two (2) years probationary period, the School Division must decide whether or not the designation will continue, and if it continues, it is deemed to be a continuing designation.
Effective September. 2, 2014, an annual increment shall be paid on each full-time employee's anniversary date of employment and after each fifteen hundred (1500) hours paid in the case of part-time employees.
Effective September. 1, 2022, 1.25% increase; the substitute teachers’ daily rates of pay will be $215.72 plus two per cent (2%) in lieu of benefits $4.31 for a total of $220.04.
Effective September. 1st each year, the Board will provide a health spending account of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250) for each teacher who commences a probationary contract, or temporary contract of one (1) year’s duration between July 1st and September 30th.
Effective September. 1st, 2004 a long term incentive bonus will be added to a Teachers salary in the amount of $ 1,100.00 for those teachers who have attained maximum experience on the grid.
