Open Enrollment Period. The Open Enrollment period for fringe benefits covered through the flexible Benefit plan is the month of November with benefits beginning the month of January, except for new hires, who will need to enroll for vision and dental benefits in the Human Resource Office, the first month after completing their probationary period. Once an employee enrolls in the benefit plan, they will remain enrolled until September 30 unless employment is terminated or there is a change in family circumstances which qualified the employee for a change in benefits.
