Common use of Open Enrollment Period Clause in Contracts

Open Enrollment Period. The University may provide an Open Enrollment period of a minimum of thirty (30) days, during which Eligible Students may enroll for coverage. The Open Enrollment period shall be provided on an annual, semi-annual and summer-only basis. If a person becomes an Eligible Student after the University's Benefit Plan Date, and enrolls for coverage during an Open Enrollment period, and the enrollment form is received by Us within thirty (30) days of the eligibility date and premiums are paid, the Effective Date of coverage will be the Eligibility Date.
