Common use of OpenShift Enterprise Clause in Contracts

OpenShift Enterprise. You must purchase the appropriate number and type of Software Subscription(s) for each (a) Physical Node or (b) Virtual Guest that deploys, installs, uses or executes OpenShift Enterprise on your premise or elsewhere based on the (1) number of Socket-pairs when the Unit is a Physical Node or (2) the number of physical Cores allocated to the Virtual Guest if the Unit is a Virtual Guest. Each Software Subscription sold on a Virtual Guest basis may be used on a maximum of two (2) physical Cores. A “Socket-pair” is up to two sockets each occupied by a CPU on the Physical Node. To cover multiple Socket-pairs or more than two physical Cores, additional Software Subscriptions are required.
