Common use of Operational Schedules Clause in Contracts

Operational Schedules. (a) The Employer shall give the Union sixty (60) days' notice of changes in the hours of operation that affect the work schedules of Employees. Where circumstances beyond the Employer's control require the introduction of changes in the hours of operation with less than sixty (60) days available for notice the Employer shall give the maximum notice possible. (b) Following the receipt of notice the Employer and the Union designated representatives shall meet to negotiate mutually agreeable work schedules. (c) If the Parties cannot agree the matter shall be resolved through the arbitration procedure outlined in Article 8 of this Agreement.
