Common use of Operational Shifts Clause in Contracts

Operational Shifts. A. Corrections personnel not assigned to the support staff will be permanently assigned to either the three squad (red, blue, and xxxxx) work schedules of 7-2, 8-4 or the two (2) squad (blue and gold in effect as of the time and date of this agreement) work schedule 4- 5, 5-4, 5-5 (operational shifts). The structure of the permanent shifts will consist of three, eight-hour work periods with an attendant fifteen minute roll call. The shift starting times for operational shifts will be 6:45 a.m., 2:45 p.m., and 10:45 p.m. for the eight (8) hour shift and 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. for the twelve (12) hour shift.
