OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE GUIDANCE DOCUMENT. Recipient or approved Project operator shall operate and maintain infrastructure projects for the useful life of the project and are to consider using the following guidance for operations and maintenance. Operational maintenance is the care and upkeep of Projects that may require detailed technical knowledge of the Project’s function and design. Project specific operational and maintenance plans shall consider the activities listed below and set forth specific activities and frequencies (not limited to those below) as determined to be appropriate by the Municipalities and best practices, including stakeholder engagement as applicable. Operational maintenance is to be performed by the operator of the Project with a purpose to make the operator aware of the state of readiness of the Project to deliver stormwater and urban runoff benefits.
