  • Media Relations 7.1 Elected officers or appointed committee chairpersons of the Union shall be allowed to speak or comment to the media while on duty provided they change into civilian clothes and provided further, that they do not purport to represent the views of the Department. The Chief's office shall be informed in advance, whenever possible, of such contact with the media. No member shall leave their duty or work station without specific prior approval of the Chief of the Department or authorized management official. Approval shall include consideration of the operating needs and work schedules of the Department or division to which the member is assigned.

  • ENTERTAINERS AND SPORTSPERSONS 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 14, income derived by a resident of a Contracting State as an entertainer, such as a theatre, motion picture, radio or television artiste, or a musician, or as a sportsperson, from that resident’s personal activities as such exercised in the other Contracting State, may be taxed in that other Contracting State.

  • LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS 30.01 A Labour/Management Relations Committee shall be appointed, consisting of a maximum of two (2) Shop Stewards from the Union, and a maximum of two (2) representatives from the Co-operative. The full-time Union Representative may also attend these meetings from time to time. The Committee shall meet at the request of either party, for the purpose of discussing matters of mutual concern. Time spent by bargaining unit employees in carrying out the functions of this Committee shall be considered as time worked and shall be paid for by the Co-operative.   • Stewards Stewards who attend Union/Management and Professional Responsibility Committee meetings outside of scheduled work hours shall be paid at straight time rates for time spent at the meetings.

  • Procurement Agent The employee of APS authorized to act on behalf of the Owner in this Contract. The Procurement Agent may designate in writing others to act on his behalf, and such designation shall state any limitations on the authority of such designee. Contractor shall not rely upon and Owner shall not be bound by any statement or representation made on behalf of APS by any person not designated to the Contractor in writing as authorized to so act on behalf of the Procurement Agent. It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder, and thereafter the Contractor, to establish the authority to act regarding any communication or action by any person other than the Procurement Agent. Use of the term Procurement Agent in the Contract Documents shall be deemed to include such properly authorized designee within the scope of that designee’s authorization.
