LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS. 9:01 No employee or group of employees shall undertake to represent the Union at meetings with the Employer without the proper authorization of the Union. The Employer shall not meet with any employee or group of employees undertaking to represent the Union without the proper authorization of the Union. In representing an employee or group of employees, a representative of the Union shall be the spokesperson. In order that this may be carried out, the Union shall supply the Employer with the names of its Officers and representatives. Likewise the Employer shall supply the Union with a list of its Designated Authorities and Chairs where the Chair is not the Designated Authority. Neither the Union nor the Employer shall be required to recognize such representatives until written notification has been received.
9:02 The Union and the Employer acknowledge the mutual benefit of joint consultation and agree, therefore, that there shall be a joint labour/management committee consisting of three (3) representatives from and selected by each party. There shall be one (1) regularly scheduled Labour/Management Committee meeting in each four (4) month term or semester (January to April, May to August, September to December). In addition, meetings shall be arranged at the request of either party through the Labour Relations Department, by submitting in writing the topics to be discussed. Such meetings shall take place, at a mutually-agreeable time, within ten (10) working days of the receipt of the request for the meeting. Meetings shall not be used to discuss matters which are the subject of a grievance nor to discuss any matters which are, at the time, the subject of collective bargaining. The committee shall function in an advisory capacity only, making recommendations to the Union and/or the Employer with respect to its discussions and conclusions, and shall not have the power to add to or modify the terms of this agreement. A representative of each party shall be designated Co-Chairperson, and the two persons so designated shall alternate in presiding over meetings.
LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS. A Labour/Management Relations Committee shall be appointed, consisting of two (2) Shop Stewards from the Union and two (2) representatives from the Co-operative. A full-time Union Representative may also attend these meetings from time to time. The Committee shall meet quarterly or at the request of either party, for the purpose of discussing matters of mutual concern. Time spent by bargaining unit employees in carrying out the functions of this Committee shall be considered as time worked and shall be paid for by the Co-operative. The Committee shall not have jurisdiction to interpret and/or amend the Collective Agreement.

30.02 Minutes of all meetings that occur shall be kept and a copy shall be given to each member of the Committee and, as well, a copy shall be posted on the bulletin board for all employees to see. The Co-operative shall fax or email a copy of such minutes to the Union Office within fourteen (14) calendar days of completion of the meeting. The Chairperson of this Committee shall rotate from meeting to meeting to ensure that there is an equal balance of representation in this position between management and the employees.

Such committee shall meet on a regular basis. The full-time Union Representative may also attend these meetings from time to time. Time spent by bargaining unit employees in carrying out the functions of this committee shall be considered as time worked and shall be paid for by the Employer. The committee shall not have jurisdiction to interpret and/or amend any of the terms and conditions contained in the Collective Agreement.

The Union office shall be provided with a copy of these minutes, upon request. The chairperson of this committee shall rotate from meeting to meeting to ensure that there is an equal balance of representation in this position between management and the employees.
LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS. 32.01 A Labour/Management Relations Committee shall be appointed consisting of an equal number of representatives from the Union and the Employer. There shall be a maximum of seven (7) representatives from each party. The Committee shall meet on request of either party or at least every third month for the purposes of discussing matters of mutual concern. The Committee shall discuss and make recommendations relating to improving and maintaining a healthy working environment. Time spent by employees in carrying out the functions of the Committee shall be considered to be time worked. The Union Representative may also attend such meetings.
LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS. 10.01 Meetings between the Corporation and the Union shall be held at times mutually agreeable to both parties within ten (10) calendar days of a request from either party. A statement outlining the matter for discussion will be submitted by each Party not less than five (5) days prior to the time of the scheduled meeting, except in cases of emergency.
10.02 The Corporation agrees that Stewards or Elected Officers shall not be hindered, coerced, restrained or interfered with in any way in the performance of their duties while investigating disputes and presenting adjustments as provided in this Article. It is understood that Stewards or Elected Officers have their regular work to perform on behalf of the Corporation and that they will not leave their work without obtaining permission from their immediate non-union supervisor, which shall not be unreasonably withheld, and shall explain the reason for their absence. Upon completing their Union duties, the Xxxxxxx or Elected Officer will be responsible to report to their immediate non-union supervisor that they have returned to their regular workplace and they are resuming their regular work.
10.03 Any member of the Union committees as outlined in Article 9, who is in the employ of the Corporation, shall have the privilege of attending meetings with the Corporation without loss of remuneration.
10.04 The Corporation agrees to compensate members of the Union Committee, in accordance with this Agreement, for time spent in the negotiation of a Collective Agreement. In the event of a meeting with a third party (conciliation or mediation), time spent in addition to time which would normally have been worked by a member of this Committee will not be paid.
10.05 The Corporation will compensate an employee required to attend a grievance meeting with the Corporation's representative or other meetings regarding Labour/Management/ management relations for his regularly scheduled work time spent in attending such meetings to the extent that he will suffer no loss of earnings.
10.06 The Corporation shall make available to the Union, on request, information required by the Union regarding job descriptions and physical demands analysis of positions in the bargaining unit; job classifications; wage rates; and a breakdown of point ratings on job evaluation, pension and welfare plans.
10.07 In accordance with Article 10, a leave of absence to attend Union affairs shall be submitted in advance and in writing to the Union member...
LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS.
9.01 A Labour Management Committee will be established to consist of not more than 4 representatives of the University and not more than 4 representatives of the Union.
9.02 The committee will meet at the request of either party at a mutually acceptable time and place, within 7 calendar days of said request.
9.03 Each party will designate the minimum number of its representatives authorized to attend such meetings.
9.04 The purpose of such meetings will be to discuss and resolve, if possible, all matters of concern pertaining to the performance of work, conditions of employment, technological change, rates of pay for new classifications, reclassifications, job descriptions, withholding of increments, hours of work, filling of vacancies, promotions, staff changes, suspensions or discharge of employees, benefits, concessions, contract interpretations, differences, disputes, grievances, or any other matter of concern raised by either of the parties.
9.05 All discussions at such meetings are without prejudice or precedent and will not be cited by either party at any arbitration.
LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS.
7.01 Labour Management
(a) No employee or group of employees will undertake to represent the Union at meetings with the University without the proper authorization of the Union. Neither will the University meet with any employee or group of employees undertaking to represent the Union without the authorization of the Union. In representing an employee or group of employees, an elected or appointed representative of the Union will speak for the Union.
(b) The Union and the University acknowledge the mutual benefits to be derived from joint consultation and approve the establishment of a Labour/Management Committee (LMC). The Committee will function in an advisory capacity only, making recommendations to the Union and/or the University with respect to its discussions and conclusions, and will not have the power to modify the terms of this Agreement. Such meetings will be held at a mutually agreeable time upon the request of either party.
(i) Meetings will normally be scheduled on a regular, monthly basis. The date, time and location of each meeting will be set at the end of the priormeeting.
(ii) Agenda items will be exchanged between the LMC Union Co-Chair and the Human Resources representative no later than the day before themeetings.
(iii) The LMC will normally consist of three or four and not more than six representatives from each party. Quorum for meetings is four participants, two from each side, unless the parties agree otherwise prior to the meeting.
(iv) All discussion will be without prejudice and precedent and there will be no limitation on agenda items.
(v) Should the parties agree in the meeting to a “with prejudice" statement or outcome, such agreements will only occur in accordance with the provisions of Article 20 of the Collective Agreement.
(c) The Union will have the right at any time to have the assistance of representatives of the Canadian Union of Public Employees or any other advisors to the Union when dealing or negotiating with the University.
(d) Representatives of the Union will have the right to attend meetings between the University and the Union held within working hours without loss of pay.
LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS.
9.01 A Labour Management Committee shall consist of not more than four (4) representatives of the University, and not more than four (4) representatives of the Union. The Committee shall convene at the request of either party. The date, time and place of such meeting shall be by agreement of the parties and be held within seven (7) days of the said request. The purpose of such meetings shall be to discuss and settle, if possible, all matters of concern pertaining to the performance of work, conditions of employment, technological change, rates of pay for new classifications, job descriptions, hours of work, filling of vacancies, differences, disputes, grievances or any other matter of concern raised by either of the parties. All discussions will be without prejudice or precedent and there will be no limitations on the agenda items.
LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS. A Labour / Management / Client Issues Committee shall be appointed consisting of Union designated employees, the Union representative, and representatives of the Company. The purpose of this Committee shall be to review any issues or matters affecting either the employees in their workplace, or client issues which have been noticed by security guards. The purpose of the Committee shall also include as a goal and objective the improvement of services to client, to ensure that the client continues to be serviced by Impact Security, and to deal with any issues related thereto.
