Orientation and Familiarization. There shall be up to a three-day orientation and familiarization period for a new employee and for employees who transfer or post to a new school, location, or job function. Adequate time shall be allowed to the employee who supervises the orientation and familiarization period in order that they will not be required to take time from their own or new position to complete the process.
