Common use of Orientation and School Opening Meetings Clause in Contracts

Orientation and School Opening Meetings. The Association shall be allowed ten (10) minutes on the agenda of the orientation program for newly hired employees to explain services available through the Association. In each building the Association shall also be given ten (10) minutes on the agenda of the first general meeting of all employees at the opening of school. The Association shall give the superintendent a two (2) day advance notice of its intention to speak at said meetings.

In each building the Association shall also be given ten fifteen (1015) minutes on the agenda of the first general meeting of all employees teachers at the opening of school. The Association shall give furnish the superintendent a two (2) day advance notice Superintendent with outlines of its intention to speak at presentations in advance of said meetings. During induction week, a representative of the Association will be included during introductions and will have the opportunity to host a lunch for newly hired teachers.
