Other Substitute Teacher Conditions. 5.3.1. In the event that a substitute teacher’s assignment is cancelled by the Employer and notice of such cancellation is not transmitted to the substitute teacher prior to 6:00 PM on the day prior to the assignment, the substitute teacher shall report to work as directed by the Employer and carry out those duties that are assigned to the substitute teacher by the Employer.

In the event that a substitute teacher’s assignment is cancelled by the Employer School Division and notice of such cancellation is not transmitted to the substitute teacher twelve (12) hours prior to 6:00 PM on the day prior to beginning of the assignment, the substitute teacher shall report to work as directed by the Employer and carry out those duties that are assigned to the substitute teacher by the Employerwill be employed for, or paid for, a half day of service.
