The associated monitoring system consists of 22 xxxxx installed in the AOA. Sixteen of the 22 xxxxx were installed south of Montezuma Creek in 2014, and 6 xxxxx were installed north of U.S. Department of Energy Monticello NPL Sites FFA Quarterly Report: Oct. 1–Dec. 31, 2022 Doc. No. 43572 Montezuma Creek in 2017. These 22 monitoring xxxxx are sampled recurrently following the extraction of approximately 1,000,000 gallons of water from the GRO system as stated in Section 1.5 of the Remedial Action Completion Report for Operable Unit III Groundwater Contingency Remedy Optimization System, Monticello Mill Tailings Site, Monticello, Utah (DOE 2016).
