Our Growing Practices. The produce we grow at Xxxx Grove Farm follows naturally grown standards. We utilize cultivation techniques that combine a carefully managed rotation of vegetable crops with cover crops to preserve soil fertility while protecting the soil’s structure, which in turn controls erosion, minimizes evaporation, and improves water infiltration. We use hand labor with simple agricultural tools along with a team of gentle and loving draft mules.
