OUT-PATIENT. A person receiving medical services under the direction of a MediCard physician, but not as an in-patient.
OUT-PATIENT is the Ambulatory Healthcare (diagnostic tests and treatments) and/or Physician’s Consultation and/ or Prescriptions of Medicines which do not Medically Necessitate Hospitalization or specialized medical supervision and care in a hospital, prior, during and/or after a procedure.
