Common use of Outside Bargaining Unit Clause in Contracts

Outside Bargaining Unit. When an employee is designated to temporarily relieve in or perform the principal duties of a position which is outside the bargaining unit, the employee shall receive a rate of pay for the position filled which is rated at 470 points. The employee shall be deemed to be covered by this collective Agreement during the period of temporary transfer. Seniority shall not be a governing factor.
