Common use of Outside Complaints Clause in Contracts

Outside Complaints. When a written complaint concerning an employee’s conduct and/or performance is made by a parent or other non-employee, the Employer shall handle the complaint under the Board’s complaint procedure. The complaint shall not be placed in the employee’s official personnel file or files unless it results in the employee being disciplined. If action is taken against an employee, he/she may seek redress consistent with the terms of this Agreement. No anonymous letters, or materials or shall be placed in the employee’s personnel file or used in any proceedings against him.
