Common use of Overloads Clause in Contracts

Overloads. ‌ 29.01 In the event employees, in the scope of their employment, are arrested or ticketed with an overload, defective equipment, permit loads, or any other infraction of the law which was caused by the District, the District shall pay all fines and actual cost incurred, providing the employees have not loaded their cargo contrary to the instructions of the supervisor. 29.02 The employee shall not suffer a loss in pay for any infraction of the law caused by the District. 29.03 Employees shall be required to report, in writing, faulty equipment conditions.
