Common use of Oversight and Enforcement Clause in Contracts

Oversight and Enforcement. The Commission will manage, supervise, and enforce this Charter Contract. Pursuant to HRS §302D-17, the Commission shall continually monitor the performance and legal compliance of the School under this Charter Contract and hold the School accountable to the performance of its obligations as required by federal and state laws and regulations, the Performance Framework, as well as the terms of this Charter Contract. The Commission shall have the authority to conduct oversight activities that enable the Commission to fulfill its responsibilities under HRS Chapter 302D, including conducting appropriate inquiries and investigations, so long as those activities are consistent with the intent of HRS Chapter 302D, and adhere to the terms of this Charter Contract. Enforcement of this Charter Contract may include, but is not limited to, taking corrective action, development of corrective action plans, imposing sanctions, non-renewal, revocation, or termination of this Charter Contract. 1 in accordance with §302D-17 Ongoing oversight and corrective actions; (a) An authorizer shall continually monitor the performance and legal compliance of the public charter schools it oversees, including collecting and analyzing data to support ongoing evaluation according to the Charter Contract.
