Owner May Stop the Work Sample Clauses
The "Owner May Stop the Work" clause grants the project owner the authority to halt construction or other contracted activities at their discretion. In practice, this means the owner can issue a formal notice to the contractor to suspend work, either temporarily or permanently, often due to reasons such as safety concerns, changes in project scope, or unforeseen circumstances. This clause serves to protect the owner's interests by providing flexibility to address issues as they arise and to mitigate potential risks or losses associated with continuing the work under problematic conditions.
