Common use of OWNERSHIP AND USE OF DOCUMENTS Clause in Contracts

OWNERSHIP AND USE OF DOCUMENTS. The Drawings, Specifications and other documents prepared by the Architect/Engineer and copies thereof furnished to the Design- Builder, are for use solely with respect to this Project. They are not to be used by the Design- Builder, Subcontractors, Sub-subcontractors or suppliers on other projects, or for additions to this Project outside the scope of the Work, without the specific written consent of the Department, and the Architect/Engineer. The design documents and other documents prepared by the Architect/Engineer shall become the property of the Department.
