Package Release. Tenant authorizes Landlord and its Agent to accept packages, parcels, and deliveries on behalf of Tenant. Tenant understands that packages will not be accepted until resident officially moves in. Tenant hereby acknowledges that accepted packages, parcels, and deliveries may not be kept in a locked or otherwise secured area. Tenant also understands that any perishable packages, parcels, and deliveries may not be stored in a climate-controlled environment. Tenant agrees to hold Landlord and its Agent free of liability or responsibility for packages, parcels, or deliveries should they be lost, damaged, or otherwise harmed. Furthermore, Tenant understands that if such packages, parcels or deliveries are not claimed within fourteen (14) days, they will either be returned to the sender or discarded as Landlord deems appropriate. Notification of package receipt will be sent via email to the address on record with the University of Maryland. Tenant must ensure that their University sponsored email account is available to receive package notification(s).

Package Release. Resident(s) gives Landlord and its agents permission to sign for and accept any parcels or letters that may be sent to Resident(s), whether anticipated or unanticipated, through UPS, Federal Express, Airborne, United States Postal Service, hand deliveries, or the like. Landlord does not accept any responsibility or liability for any lost, damaged, or unordered deliveries and Resident(s) agrees to hold Landlord and Landlord’s agents harmless from any loss or damage to any of Resident(s)’s packages. Nothing in this paragraph, however, obligates Landlord to accept any packages on behalf of Resident(s) and Landlord may choose not to do so.

Tenants hereby release Landlord from all liability for accepting and storing these items, including but not limited to loss, theft, damage, and/or lack of support for perishables.

Package Release. As a convenience, Licensor will accept mail/UPS/FedEx Packages on behalf of Licensees, however, Licensor will not be held responsible for loss, theft, damage or delays in delivery and/or failure of delivery of your mail. Licensor requires that you provide a photo identification to retrieve packages. If packages and deliveries are not picked up within 30 days, Licensor may return them to sender or post office. Commercial use of mail is prohibited.
