Paid Illness Leave Exhaustion and Difference Pay Limitations. Subject to California Education Code Sections 44977 through 44978.1, the District shall provide to Bargaining Unit members, upon exhaustion of all available and accumulated sick leave, difference pay in accordance with statutory limitations. The calculations for difference pay shall be the Bargaining Unit member’s per diem, less one hundred thirty ($130) dollars per day.
