Common use of Parental Involvement Clause in Contracts

Parental Involvement. Contractor shall provide all records and periodic reports as may be required by the Board regarding the extent of parental involvement activities. Contractor shall offer opportunities for parental participation in the Program for Children at Risk, including: 1. Direct involvement in decision making in program planning and analysis. 2. Participation in classroom and program activities. 3. Participation in training sessions on child growth and development. 4. Participation in activities that support and enhance the parents' role in their child's education and development. Specifically, Contractor shall comply with MPS Administrative Policy 9.09, Visitors To The School, which policy, among other things, encourages parents to visit the classrooms and observe the work of the schools, and which policy is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Appendix I.
