Common use of Parental leave and other leave Clause in Contracts

Parental leave and other leave. (a) An employee may take any annual leave or long service leave (or any part of it) to which the employee is entitled instead of or in conjunction with parental leave. (b) However, the total period of leave cannot be so extended beyond the maximum period of parental leave authorised by this Clause unless the Employer agrees to extend the amount of leave authorised.
