Parish Council. A. The Prairie Wind Evangelical Lutheran Parish Council shall consist of seven thirteen people, to include the Pastor, the President or Vice President of each Congregational Council, one other council member from each congregation and one member at-large from each congregation. Each individual Congregational Council will elect two members to serve on the Parish Council, each for a one-year term. Except for the Council Presidents, elected members are limited to a maximum of three consecutive terms. Terms will run according to the calendar year (January 1 - December 31). The congregation council may also elect an alternate to be able to serve in the absence of their respective parish council member. Should a member’s place on the parish council be declared vacant, the congregational council holding the vacancy shall elect, by majority vote, a successor until Dec 31 of the current year. B. The Parish Council shall have oversight for all things related to the sharing of ministry among the participating congregations and shall make all decisions impacting the partnership of the participating congregations. Duties shall include: 1) Identifying leadership needs and the sharing of the ministry leadership in an equitable way. 2) Periodically reviewing the ministry expectations with the Pastor. 3) Recommending an annual compensation package for Parish ministry staff, for presentation to the respective Congregational Councils. C. Decisions impacting the individual congregations, but not the partnership, shall be made in the individual Congregation Councils. D. The Parish Council will meet on no less than a quarterly basis.
Parish Council. This agreement shall commence on 1 February 2017 (date) and continue subject only to three calendar months notice, served in writing by either party on the other.

Annually review the terms of the Letter of Call and the ministry expectations of the Parish, pastors and staff. d. Be a supportive group for pastors and spouses. e. Coordinate the scheduling of occasional ministry worship services for Thanksgiving, Advent, Christmas Eve/Day, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, etc. f. Draw up, monitor, and administer the Parish budget and all joint expenses. g. Approve pastoral and support staff salary and reimbursement. h. Initiate the Parish Call Committee, according to Article XI. i. Designate a special purpose for offerings for special joint ministry worship services or loose offerings will go to the host congregation and each offering envelope will go to the individual ministry designated on the envelope. j. Actively participate in the worship and congregational life of the Parish. k. Mediate conflict within the Parish. l. Annually review the Parish and the Parish Agreement. m. Draft and present Continuing Resolutions for approval by the Parish congregations. 4. Each congregation will elect their own representatives to the Parish Council at their annual meetings, with nominee(s) being nominated by mutual consent of the Congregation’s Council in consultation with current Parish Council members from their congregation, following the announcement of the position and consultation with any interested persons.   • European Monetary Union If, as a result of the implementation of European monetary union, (a) any currency ceases to be lawful currency of the nation issuing the same and is replaced by a European common currency, then any amount payable hereunder by any party hereto in such currency shall instead be payable in the European common currency and the amount so payable shall be determined by translating the amount payable in such currency to such European common currency at the exchange rate recognized by the European Central Bank for the purpose of implementing European monetary union, or (b) any currency and a European common currency are at the same time recognized by the central bank or comparable authority of the nation issuing such currency as lawful currency of such nation, then (i) any Loan made at such time shall be made in such European common currency and (ii) any other amount payable by any party hereto in such currency shall be payable in such currency or in such European common currency (in an amount determined as set forth in clause (a)), at the election of the obligor. Prior to the occurrence of the event or events described in clause (a) or (b) of the preceding sentence, each amount payable hereunder in any currency will continue to be payable only in that currency. The Borrowers agree, at the request of the Required Lenders, at the time of or at any time following the implementation of European monetary union, to enter into an agreement amending this Agreement in such manner as the Required Lenders shall reasonably request in order to avoid any unfair burden or disadvantage resulting from the implementation of such monetary union and to place the parties hereto in the position they would have been in had such monetary union not been implemented, the intent being that neither party will be adversely affected economically as a result of such implementation and that reasonable provisions may be adopted to govern the borrowing, maintenance and repayment of Loans denominated in any Alternative Currency or a European common currency after the occurrence of the event or events described in clause (a) or (b) of the preceding sentence.

  • Wage Scales All workers covered by this Agreement shall be classified and paid in accordance with the classification and wage scales as attached as Appendices "A" and forming part of this Agreement.

  • C-TPAT In connection with providing Goods and Services to AGILENT, Seller shall comply with Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C- TPAT) or equivalent supply chain security measures. When requested by AGILENT, Seller shall demonstrate compliance by providing certification thereof to AGILENT.

  • CENTRAL LABOUR RELATIONS COMMITTEE C4.1 OPSBA, the Crown and OSSTF agree to establish a joint Central Labour Relations Committee to promote and facilitate communication between rounds of bargaining on issues of joint interest.

  • Central Bargaining Committee (a) In central bargaining between the Canadian Union of Public Employees and the participating hospitals, an employee serving on the Union's Central Negotiating Committee shall be paid for time lost from his normal straight time working hours at his regular rate of pay and without loss of leave credits for attending central negotiating meetings with the Hospitals' Central Negotiating Committee in direct negotiations up to the point of arbitration. In addition, an employee serving on the Union’s Central Negotiating Committee shall be paid for time lost from his normal straight time working hours at his regular rate of pay and without loss of leave credits for two (2) days of preparation time for such central negotiating meetings with the Hospital’s Central negotiating Committee. Upon reference to arbitration, the Negotiating Committee members shall receive unpaid time off for the purpose of attending arbitration hearings. It is understood and agreed that the maximum number of Union Central Negotiating Committee members entitled to payment under this provision shall be eight (8), and in no case will more than one employee from a hospital be entitled to such payment. The Union shall advise the Hospitals' Central Negotiating Committee, before negotiations commence, of those employees to be paid under this provision. The Hospitals' Central Negotiating Committee shall advise the eight (8) Hospitals accordingly. (b) Vice-Presidents of the Ontario Council of Hospital Unions shall be granted leave of absence by their employers in accordance with (a) above or Article 12.02 as the case may be, in order to fulfil the duties of their position.

  • STATE MEAL MANDATE When CONTRACTOR is a nonpublic school, CONTRACTOR and LEA shall satisfy the State Meal Mandate under California Education Code sections 49530, 49530.5 and 49550.

  • Joint Funded Project with the Ohio Department of Transportation In the event that the Recipient does not have contracting authority over project engineering, construction, or right-of-way, the Recipient and the OPWC hereby assign certain responsibilities to the Ohio Department of Transportation, an authorized representative of the State of Ohio. Notwithstanding Sections 4, 6(a), 6(b), 6(c), and 7 of the Project Agreement, Recipient hereby acknowledges that upon notification by the Ohio Department of Transportation, all payments for eligible project costs will be disbursed by the Grantor directly to the Ohio Department of Transportation. A Memorandum of Funds issued by the Ohio Department of Transportation shall be used to certify the estimated project costs. Upon receipt of a Memorandum of Funds from the Ohio Department of Transportation, the OPWC shall transfer funds directly to the Ohio Department of Transportation via an Intra- State Transfer Voucher. The amount or amounts transferred shall be determined by applying the Participation Percentages defined in Appendix D to those eligible project costs within the Memorandum of Funds. In the event that the Project Scope is for right-of-way only, notwithstanding Appendix D, the OPWC shall pay for 100% of the right-of-way costs not to exceed the total financial assistance provided in Appendix C.
