Participation in College Governance. The Employer recognizes the requisite expertise and ability of the faculty to provide valuable input regarding many of the decisions which the Employer must make from time to time. It is agreed that a procedure will be maintained which allows input of the considered judgment of the faculty when appropriate. On college committees, boards, councils and other governing bodies that include faculty representation, when consensus is not reached, both majority and dissenting recommendations may be provided to the decision-making authority in writing.
