Partly or Fully Glazed Shutters. The general specifications for partly paneled fully glazed shutter shall be similar to that for paneled shutter described in the drawings or relevant item. The styles and rails in the glazed shutters shall be rebated. 5/8" X 0.5" (16mm X 12mm) to receive the glass unless otherwise specified or shown in drawings. Sash bars shall be of full thickness of the shutter and of width as a shown in the drawings. These shall be moulded and rebated mitred on side to receive the glass as per drawing unless otherwise specified, glass panels shall be fixed by means of moulded teak beads and suitable G.I. screws. Finished thickness of the shutter shall be as mentioned in the schedule of Quantities. The rate shall be for the completed work in all respects fitted and fixed in position at all heights and depths and locations. Approved samples should be kept in the office of the Employer/ Architects or at the site for reference. The glass shall conform to specifications as described under head glazing. The thickness of glass shall be mentioned in the Schedule of Quantities.
