Common use of Parts Clause in Contracts

Parts. Bidder shall have full service facility stocked with parts capable of performing all maintenance service to ensure efficient and economic maintenance of the equipment and to reduce down time. Parts will be furnished on an exchange basis when installed by the vendor’s service personnel and will be new parts or parts equivalent to new, in performance, when used in this equipment. Replaced parts shall become the property of the vendor.
